FUESTADGATE Richard Nelson and his family lived here. Jane 25, Mary 7, William 5 ,John 2 and Jane 3 mths.

MILLER GROUND. Here at Miller Ground resided two families. Robert Wilson was the farmer with his wife Betty both 38 years old and they had a female servant Mary Lishman 20 years old. Also at Miller Ground was an agricultural labourer and family. Listed were Jane Kirkbride 49years old,Charles 25 years old, Hannah 14 years old, Mary 12 years old, Jane 10 years old and Margaret 4 years old.

Here the housekeeper Ellen Mashiter was first on the list aged 71 with John Mashiter 35 years old following .He was the farmer and there were 4 children with him .Thomas 25years, Ann 35 years, Mary 25 years and Ellen 8 years. Three agricultural labourers lived there also-Robert Holme aged 18, William Wills aged 17 years and Christopher Atkinsin aged 15 years. Jane Timm 55 and Mary Spark 15 were down as female servants.

CAUSER. At Causer farmer James Longmire 40 and his family- Mary 35, Margaret 75, Margaret 8, James 5, Thomas 3, and Masey 1 resided alongside agricultural labourer William Longmire 33 and his family- Jane 32, Margaret 11, Elisabeth 7 and George 1.
